The Indian Army carried out a daring para drop at Tangail, Bangladesh during the Bangladesh Liberation War - 1971. An account of the battle is narrated by Lt Gen Nirbhay Sharma (Retd) who was the Adjutant 2 PARA Battalion at the time of the drop.
